Although we didn't always work together like a well oiled tank, our group pumped out some good blog posts which was rewarding. I'm glad our last post was about tanks because I have always been interested in them, mainly because they are the closest thing to Optimus Prime that exist in real life. This blog wasn't a negative experience for me by any means but it was a lot of work and I'm glad it's over. Hopefully it can be used as an example to show next year's students how it's done.

Never though I would be seeing this day soon, but its the final Student Reflection. Wow, the year went by very fast. I would like to take this moment and thank you, Mr. Ray, for assigning us this project. I would not have went and researched about vehicles and learned how to use Weebly if it weren't for this assignment. I would like to thank you for the great year and I hope to see you next year. I will make sure to stop by. And as regards to this blog post: I really like the set up and we all managed to work well together for the last time. I feel that we have gotten better at analyzing and making connections in history thanks to this project and I hope we apply what we have learned in the real world, so we can change the world for the better.
- Hussein Elahy I think our last blog post was probably our best one. It was cool to research about the similarities and differences between military aircraft and military tanks used in World War 2. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the Blog Posts this year. They were a great way to learn about specific things that changed throughout history that we wouldn't learn as part of the class curriculum. I'll miss doing these on a regular basis, but I appreciate the opportunity to research outside of class, preparing me for college.
-Yaseen Bhuiyan Out of all the blog posts we have written this year, this one was by far the most interesting for me because recently my family went to my uncle's house in Indiana and we found a box of my grandfather's old WW2 artifacts. It was really cool to get to show off some of the pictures that my grandfather took back from the war. Overall, I learned a lot researching for this blog post and found the early stages of aviation very interesting.
- Jubran Samra This time's blog post topic has probably been the most in-depth and most interesting so far this year. I absolutely enjoyed learning more about how the United States, Germany, and other nations used aircraft to give themselves a competitive advantage during war battles. We're still trying out new formats with more pictures and hopefully videos in the future, and I can't wait to see those ideas come to fruition. I'm excited to learn more about how vehicle technology has shaped our lives today!
-Yaseen Bhuiyan This was probably one of my favorite research posts of the year! The set up and everything has a more complex and creative look than the previous posts, as well as an excessive amount of pictures (13 to be exact). I was hoping we could add videos and background music on to our post this time, but they require either the use of YouTube, or an upgrade to a premium account. We were also planning on posting gameplay of a World War II plane video game, but we ran out of time. Who knows, we may plan on doing it on the next post. The next blog post will most likely be my favorite one: tanks are just so cool for some reason! Hopefully, we will be able to continue doing well on the posts and make more connects regarding vehicle advancements throughout history.
The blog posts have always been interesting, and I love doing them as they are a way for me to explore new aspects of history that we don't learn in class. Learning about steamboats was very cool. I got to read about the different types, how they work, and their pros and cons. My team and I have been working diligently on these posts, which makes me feel very proud. I'm excited to learn about transportation technology during the Civil War for our next blog post.
-Yaseen Our posts are going well so far. We have now been able to add a new extra section (How it Worked section) to our research pages thanks to our new member, Jubran. I look forward to continuing our research and making more connections regarding our topic. I am personally looking forward to when we reach World War II, in which we will introduce a few new surprises to our research experience. Hopefully everything will continue as planned and hopefully we will keep addressing the topic at hand clearly and well.
-Hussein The post we did this time was very interesting because it was about an innovation that was pivotal to the industrialization of the United States and its advancement in transportation technology. The steam locomotive was the starting point for all the high-tech and expensive cars we see today. It was also cool to read about all the changes made to the steam locomotive within a span of 80 years or so; creativity and innovation was booming during the seventeenth century in the United States. I'm eager to do our next blog post, which will be about the steamboat and its impact on America's transportation system on water.
-Yaseen This is my first post on this blog but I think that Steam Locomotives are a really interesting topic because they were one of the main aspects of the industrial revolution and they played a huge part in the civil war by allowing both sides to transport vast amounts of troops and resources. It was fascinating to research how steam engines work and to imagine how much ingenuity it took to come up with such an invention.
