The post we did this time was very interesting because it was about an innovation that was pivotal to the industrialization of the United States and its advancement in transportation technology. The steam locomotive was the starting point for all the high-tech and expensive cars we see today. It was also cool to read about all the changes made to the steam locomotive within a span of 80 years or so; creativity and innovation was booming during the seventeenth century in the United States. I'm eager to do our next blog post, which will be about the steamboat and its impact on America's transportation system on water.

This is my first post on this blog but I think that Steam Locomotives are a really interesting topic because they were one of the main aspects of the industrial revolution and they played a huge part in the civil war by allowing both sides to transport vast amounts of troops and resources. It was fascinating to research how steam engines work and to imagine how much ingenuity it took to come up with such an invention.
- Jubran Samra As we progress, I am starting to get more and more attached to this site. I am starting to try out new formats and styles to portray our research, one of which a prototype of the format on the INDUSTRIALIZATION page. I like how we are progressing with this idea of advancements in vehicle technology as well. I like how we are starting to get into more topics that may be a bit more "cooler" then the ones we have done before. Hopefully we will get better as we progress and learn more about how vehicle technology advanced throughout the history of the United States.
